The National Poster Retrospecticus in Minneapolis 4/13 at Co Exhibitions

Oh, those crazy poster making artists. This event isn’t totally local, but I have to say we are one of the better poster making cities. There will be many local artists involved, that’s for sure. Plus it features over 75 artists from all over the country. It might just be a must see, and it’s for one night only.

HOT PARTY- Art Opening – 2/22 at Light Grey Art Lab

HOT PARTY features larger-than-life confetti installations, miniature birthday cakes, high flying flags, and delicate paper sculptures, transforming the gallery into a party-themed wonderland. The exhibition’s goal is to create an atmosphere of excitement and suspense as each artwork captures “the moment before the party”.

The opening reception for HOT PARTY is Friday, February 22nd from 7-10 PM. You can expect piles of candy, a giant birthday cake, confetti poppers, a photo-booth, and artwork giveaways!
