Brother Ali and Omar Offendum to Speak, Perform at 2013 Nobel Peace Prize Forum


The Nobel Peace Prize Forum is presenting an evening exploring the dynamics of peace and hip-hop on Saturday, March 9, 2013, 8:00 PM, at Augsburg College’s Kennedy Center.

Hip-hop artist Brother Ali and Syrian-American rapper/activist Omar Offendum will each present a TED-style talk and perform an abbreviated musical set with a live band. The evening will conclude with a moderated panel discussion and audience Q&A. 

The Nobel Peace Prize Forum brings together Nobel Peace Prize winners, civic leaders and scholars together with students and other citizens. The Forum’s mission is to inspire peacemaking by celebrating the work of Peace Prize winners.
